The Sail, Power & Watersports Show is set to be London's premier maritime event with hundreds of boats on display and a mix of fun and entertainment for all ages. Father Christmas will be dropping in throughout the day with presents for children and there are two late night Christmas shopping evenings on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th November when the show will be open until 9pm.
World's Biggest Boat Auction
This year we're hosting the biggest boat auction ever seen with our partners Boatshed. It's a live event with a ‘Top 100' boats for sale, including dinghies, canoes, RIBs, sports boats, family cruisers, tenders, jet-skis, motor boats, classic yachts and powerboats. It's an opportunity for our visitors to buy every type of boat, from modern day cruisers to classic powerboats and historic racing yachts.
Destinations Zone
Companies such as OnDeck and Sunsail will be part of a large Destinations Zone where visitors will be able to have a taste of winter sun and buy charter holidays around the world. Waterside Properties will also provide thousands of shore side homes to buy.
Live Wake-Boarding
Expect to be entertained over five days and two evenings by our International Pro-Wakeboarders as they perform tricks in the Central Pool in Earls Court to live music. The Watersports Zone will also host a large choice of accessories including clothing, wetsuits and sunglasses from leading brand names such as Timberland, O'Neil, Oakley and Quicksilver.
Marine Electronics
In the Navigation Village visitors can browse for the perfect Christmas present. All the latest products will be on display including GPS, Radar and Fish-finders. Through Marine Electronic Services, visitors will be able to buy leading products from Raymarine, Garmin and Icom whilst Standard Horizon will be one of the companies on site introducing its new products to the market.
Chandlery Village
With chandleries such as Aladdins Cave and Andark Diving exhibiting their range of products, this will be the perfect place for visitors to buy clothing with brands such as Musto, Henri Lloyd, Crewsaver, Gill, Dubarry and Sebago being available at the show.
RIB International RIB Zone
The RIB International RIB Zone will host a display of RIBs, from the latest expedition craft to RIBs that are suitable for family cruising. Brands such as Cougar, Scorpion, Aquaflyte, Red Bay & Hunton will form part of an impressive display.
London's Biggest Powerboat Display
Following the launch of the 2008 Round Britain Offshore Power Boat Race at Earls Court in December last year, Lord Beaverbrook, custodian of the famous Beaverbrook Trophy, will become the Patron of an impressive display of power boats, an area that is being designed and opened by Steve Curtis, eight-times World Class 1 Champion.
The display will include Team 747 from Swordsman Marine, Team Scorpion Dubois, Swipe Wipes and Silverline, as well as a selection of winning boats from the Honda Formula 4-stroke Powerboat Series.
Engines
A powerboat display wouldn't be complete without a choice of engines, and leading products such as Yamaha, Mercury, Mariner, Honda, Yanmar and Cummins will complement the display of race boats.
Dinghy Zone sponsored by Dinghy Sailing Magazine
The Dinghy Zone will feature a display of racing dinghies including Championship and Olympic dinghies and starter dinghies that are ideal for entry level sailing. This zone will be opened by some of our 2008 Olympic heroes and heroines to help us all to inspire and encourage a new generation to participate in our sport.
Inland Waterways World
The Inland Waterways World at Earls Court will reflect the way of life experienced on the network of canals and rivers around the UK, with family entertainment and a good selection of canal boats to buy.
Central Pool Marina
The famous Central Pool in Earls Court 1 will be filled to create a Marina with fully rigged yachts as a central feature of the show. The marina will host live entertainment throughout the show featuring modern day racing yachts as well as small family cruisers.
The GUINNESS Bar
We've brought the GUINNESS Bar into Earls Court 1 to take up a central location; we couldn't have a show without it and it's sure to be a popular meeting point.
