New Show for 2010

Boats to star at new British Leisure Show

Organisers of the 2007 Earls Court Boat Show and the 2008 Sail, Power & Watersports Show are excited to announce the launch of a brand new consumer event for 2010.

The British Leisure Show will give visitors a fantastic opportunity to experience so much more at one event, including a range of ways to get afloat.

The event will be held in the prestigious grounds of the Royal Windsor Racecourse, on the banks of the River Thames, from Friday 19th - Sunday 21st March 2010.

Managing Director, James Brooke said, "This is a fantastic new opportunity for companies within the marine industry to meet new customers and benefit from cross-selling opportunities at a modern, diverse and carefully constructed event. We're responding to high consumer demand for value at a time when people are looking for cost effective ways to spend their leisure time in the UK. It can be surprisingly affordable to get out on the water, and we're committed to promote all watersports activities within the Show."

"We're looking forward to returning to Earls Court in November 2010, and we're delighted to have had so many wishes of support for the British Leisure Show."

The British Leisure Show is a unique family event, created to inspire visitors with a comprehensive range of outdoor leisure activities and products. The Show incorporates six main zones:  Boats & Watersports, Camping and Caravanning, Cars & Bikes, Explore Britain, Outdoor & Country, and Extreme Sports.

The first of many new Show partnerships has been announced. The Camping and Caravanning Club have created unique on-site camping facilities for visitors and exhibitors.

Damien Field, Membership Activities Manager of The Camping and Caravanning Club said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with the British Leisure Show, and that The Club is able to extend our services and offer campers a high level of service. We have over 470,000 members and we’re sure that many of them will be keen to visit the Show.”
